I am a ceramic design student studying in London. In this blog I would like to share with everyone the research I have done for projects or simply just artists and designers who interest me. Most of the posts you will find are from books. I love art deco and pretty much anything else, whether it’s history, art, music, architecture, from the first half of the 20th Century, except for futurism maybe (I still can’t come to terms with this matter, simply because I don’t really understand it). I can appreciate modern architecture, especially if it introduced new functions or forms of material, which are ecologically friendly or just cleverly made to make people’s lives simpler. If you are looking for conceptual art or performance art (other than theatre, music, etc.) you probably won’t find it here as I don’t really understand it or consider it something I really like, so I’d rather just not write or publish anything about it, as I would be unable to form an objective opinion.
